Seminar

NIS2 seminar CO:PLAY x Globeteam x Microsoft

Whatis the status of the implementation of NIS2 in Danish law? How do you organize your work to ensure a constructive interaction between legal and cybersecurity considerations? And what are the expectations for how the rules will be enforced?

A common problem for companies and authorities that must comply with NIS2 is the perception that the rules are too generally formulated to be actionable. The NIS2 bill has been sent out for consultation. Therefore, many are waiting for more clarity on the requirements towards the turn of the year as the process of implementing the directive in Danish legislation progresses.

At the seminar, NIS2 experts will provide qualified answers to why you should not postpone the task any longer, and how you can prioritize the work with NIS2 without wasting resources or choosing solutions that do not meet the requirements of the upcoming legislation. You can also get concrete inspiration from some of the larger companies in Denmark and hear how they are preparing for NIS2.

The day will provide an opportunity to raise specific questions regarding the legal framework for working with NIS2, and in particular how the requirements interact in practice when assessing which cyber security measures to prioritize, etc.

After the presentations there will be a panel discussion.

The seminar will cover the following topics, among others:

  • Status on the implementation of the NIS2 Directive: What do companies and authorities need to pay special attention to in the run-up to the regulations coming into force?
  • What makes NIS2 work a unique compliance task that requires a specific approach?
  • How do you prioritize between necessary cybersecurity measures when resources and skills are limited?
  • What are the latest trends in the threat landscape and how should they affect your work?
  • Which of the upcoming requirements should you prioritize to minimize your compliance risk?
  • How is a NIS2 project organized and run in large and small companies, municipalities, government agencies, etc.
  • What kind of dialog should you have with your management about resources, mandate, anchoring, etc.
  • What concrete initiatives need to be implemented today and how?
  • How can ISO and other standards contribute to the work with NIS2?

The seminaris aimed at CIOs, CISOs, IT security managers, IT managers, data protection law experts, lawyers, DPOs and employees who will run internal NIS2 projects etc. Places are reserved for current and potential clients.

The seminar can be approved as mandatory continuing education for lawyers.
