Heidi Højmark Helveg has today won a case of freedom of speech, where the Supreme Court has upheld the High Court's decision to acquit Naser Khader of libel in connection with a 2017 case concerning the allocation of funds from the rate pool. The case has been the subject of intense media coverage.

"We are not surprised by today's Supreme Court ruling, which is based on the European Court of Human Rights practice. At the same time, we are satisfied that the Supreme Court has agreed with the legal arguments that we have put forward and, not least, has had an assessment of the facts of the case, which supports that there is sufficient factual basis for Naser Khader's statements" says Heidi Højmark Helveg.
